Man critical after city shooting
A man is in a critical condition in hospital after he was shot twice in the stomach on a street in Glasgow.

The 23-year-old victim, who has not been named, was shot at 1910 BST on Monday in Stronsay Street, Germiston.

He was taken to Stobhill Hospital and a Strathclyde Police spokeswoman said enquiries were continuing.

Detectives are also investigating a suspicious death in Sighthill after a 59-year-old man was found with head injuries at 2020 BST on Monday.
