Teen arrested over woman's death

The woman was found in her home on Waverley Terrace
A 15-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the death of a 60-year-old woman.

Elizabeth McAlpine was found seriously injured at 0215 BST on Thursday after an incident at her home in Waverley Terrace, Dumbarton.

Ms McAlpine died at the scene. Police said that a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.

The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is expected to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Monday.
