Bunnymen star faces assault trial
Glasgow Barrowland
Glasgow Barrowland hosted Echo and the Bunnymen in October
Echo and the Bunnymen star Ian McCulloch has appeared in court accused of assaulting two fans after a gig at Glasgow Barrowland.

It is alleged McCulloch, 46, attacked Gary Duncan and Juliet Sebley after the concert in October 2005.

At Glasgow District Court, Mr McCulloch, from Liverpool, denied two charges of assault and a third of breach of the peace.

He will return to court next month to stand trial.

It is alleged he kicked a toilet door open which struck Miss Sebley on the head.

He is said to have repeatedly pushed Mr Duncan.

And it is claimed the rocker swore at and threatened the pair.
