Teenager in 'serious condition' after wall crash

A teenager is in hospital with serious injuries following a car crash in Edinburgh.

The 16-year-old passenger was taken to Edinburgh Royal infirmary after the car he was travelling in hit a wall in Greendykes Road near to Wauchope House.

The incident happened in the early hours of Saturday. He remains in hospital in a serious condition.

The driver of the car, a blue Rover 25, was unhurt. Police appealed for witnesses to the crash.
