The display at the Omni Centre in Edinburgh has tens of thousands of messages for past and present service men and women
War heroes have opened a giant poppy display in Edinburgh. Veterans of World War II and the Falklands conflict joined serving soldiers to open the show of tens of thousands of personal messages. The messages have been written to service men and women both from the past and the present. Members of the public can add more messages in person at the Omni Centre in Greenside Row and online up to and including 11 November. The messages will also be flashed up on to television screens at the centre.
