Farm worker killed in harvester

Keith Wannan was killed after falling into a potato harvester

A man has been killed after falling into a potato harvester on a farm in Fife.

Keith Wannan, 34, of Cupar, was found with serious injuries at 1030 BST on Sunday at Foodie Farm, by Foodieash.

His arms and legs had become caught in the machinery. He was airlifted to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee after being freed but later died.

The Health and Safety Executive has been informed and a report submitted to the procurator fiscal.
