Solicitor accused of drug dealing

Edinburgh Sheriff Court
An Edinburgh solicitor has denied dealing drugs from his law firm

An Edinburgh solicitor has been accused of dealing drugs from the law firm where he worked as a partner.

Grant O'Connor, 37, is alleged to have supplied cocaine to four men from the offices of Allan McDougall and Co in Dalkeith in January.

One of the men later died of a suspected overdose.

At Edinburgh Sheriff Court, Mr O'Connor denied charges of possessing and supplying class A drugs. He was bailed and will stand trial in December.
