Stabbed Livingston teenager named

A teenager who died after being stabbed in the chest in West Lothian has been named.

Connor Muir, 17, was stabbed on Friday following an altercation on a path to the rear of Rushbank in Livingston at about 2130 GMT.

He was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary but died from his injuries.

Andrew Gibson, 22, from Livingston, appeared at Linlithgow Sheriff Court charged with murder and possession of drugs. He was remanded in custody.

He made no plea and no declaration and will appear again on 16 March.
