Ambulance overturns on 999 call

Another ambulance was sent out following the accident

Two crew members are recovering after their ambulance overturned in Fife on the way to a 999 call.

The accident happened on Monday at 0541 GMT near Kelty as they drove to an emergency in Kinross.

The pair were taken to Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline with minor injuries and later discharged.

Another ambulance and crew were sent to the emergency in Kinross following the accident. It is thought snow and ice contributed to the accident.
