Scotland's "jam boy" has been crowned the nation's top young innovator, beating off competition from hundreds of pioneering Scots.
Fraser Doherty, 19, from Edinburgh, was named Scotland's Best Young Innovator for his brain-child Super Jam, at the John Logie Baird Awards on Wednesday.
The awards were launched to celebrate the television inventor's life.
Mr Doherty received the prize of £20,000 worth of support to progress his business.
The teenager become one of the youngest people to supply a UK supermarket last year.
He created a range of Super Jams available in 130 Waitrose stores across the UK before branching into Tesco.
His recipe uses grape juice to sweeten the fruit instead of refined sugar or artificial sweeteners.
He began making jam when he was 14, using his grandmother's secret recipes.
Mr Doherty was honoured in front of 200 guests, including BBC dragon Doug Richard and Curry King of Glasgow Charan Gill.
John Logie Baird's son, Professor Malcolm Baird, said: "To date it feels like there has been a gap in recognising Scotland's innovative talent, especially for a country with such a rich history of invention and innovation.
"There's still a lot going on in Scotland and the John Logie Baird Awards have recognised and celebrated that this evening."
He added: "Super Jam has won awards before, but to receive an award which celebrates the innovative nature of the product is something entirely different, it's great."
Isabell Majewsky, chief executive of award organisers GO Group, said: "During the course of the programme, we have identified many magnificent inventors and innovators and I'd like to congratulate them all."
The awards, launched in June, have seen inventions and innovations such as a Multiple Sclerosis blood test and a theatre initiative to develop understanding of environmental issues.
Winners on the night included Iain Baikie of KP Technology Ltd, based in the Highlands, Elaine Stephen, who invented the Walkodile in Aberdeen, and Edinburgh-based David Hamilton of ATEEDA Ltd.
