Teenage girl charged over murder

A teenage girl has appeared in court in connection with the murder of a 63-year-old woman.

The body of Ann Gray was discovered at a house in Crosshill, near Lochgelly, in Fife on Friday night.

Nicolle Earley, 16, from Lochgelly, made no plea or declaration when she appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court. She was remanded in custody.

Mrs Gray's family released a statement saying the "much-loved" grandmother of 12 would be "sadly missed".
