Teenage girl charged over death

A 16-year-old girl has been charged in connection with the death of a 63-year-old woman whose body was found at a house in Fife.

The woman was discovered at the property in Crosshill near Lochgelly at about 2130 GMT on Friday.

A spokesman for Fife Constabulary said the teenager was due to appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Monday.

He added that a report would be submitted to the procurator fiscal at Dunfermline.
