Roofer named after death plunge

Thomas Sturrock fell about 150 feet from a roof in Fife

A roofer who died after falling about 150ft while working on a building site in Fife has been named.

Thomas Sturrock, 32, of Methil, was pronounced dead at the scene following the accident in Glenrothes.

The emergency services were called to Southfield Industrial Estate following the incident at about 1215 BST on Monday.

A Fife Constabulary spokesman said it was understood that there were no suspicious circumstances.
