Investigation follows body find

Police have launched an investigation after a woman's body was found at a house in Kirkcaldy, Fife.

Detectives are treating the death, which was discovered on Tuesday evening, as suspicious and a post-mortem is to be carried out.

The body was discovered at a property on Overton Mains in the town and the area has been sealed off by police.

The woman's identity will not be made known until relatives have been informed, Fife Constabulary said.
