Theft of Royal yacht propellers

The Royal Yacht Britannia is berthed in Leith

Two massive spare propellers for the Royal Yacht Britannia have been stolen from a warehouse in Leith.

It is believed the value of the propellers is in the region of £7,000.

They are estimated to be 7ft in length and would have required specialist lifting gear to remove them from the scene.

The theft occurred on 2 June. Police have appealed for anyone with any information on the incident to get in touch with them.
