Raid nets heroin worth £100,000

Heroin with a street value of £100,000 has been seized after a raid on a house in Fife.

A 44-year-old man is expected to appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court in connection with the operation in the Ballingry area on Monday.

The operation also netted about £10,000 in cash, police said.

Head of the Drugs Squad, Det Insp Neil Kerr, said it was a "substantial" seizure and he urged people to report the activities of drug dealers.
