Vandals who caused £2,000 damage after setting fire to four parking ticket machines in Edinburgh city centre are being sought by police.
The incidents happened between 1700 BST on Tuesday and 0800 BST on Wednesday.
Two machines in Douglas Crescent were vandalised, along with one in Eglinton Crescent and one in Belford Road.
A spokesman for Lothian and Borders Police said it appeared the machines were covered in some type of foam, before being burnt.
The spokesman said: "This was a serious act of vandalism that resulted in £2,000 worth of damage, and we are extremely keen for information to help us trace whoever is responsible.
"Anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the west end area of the city centre overnight from Tuesday into Wednesday should contact the police immediately."
