Traffic delays after mixer spill
Forth Road Bridge
A southbound contraflow has been set up on the Forth Road Bridge
Motorists faced delays at the start of the evening rush hour after a concrete mixer spilled its load on the Forth Road Bridge.

Several tons of wet concrete covered the road surface and one southbound lane was closed while bridge workers cleaned it up.

Traffic flows on the bridge returned to normal by 1730 GMT.

The Forth Estuary Transport Authority said the accident involved only the mixer and high winds were not a factor.
