Suspicious driver stops teenager
A motorist who was seen acting suspiciously in Edinburgh is being sought by police.

The man, who was driving a silver car, stopped a 16-year-old girl at about 1330 GMT on Friday as she walked along Frogston Road in Gracemount.

The driver, a white man in his late 20s with brown hair, tried to engage the girl in conversation but she became alarmed and ran off.

The incident took place beside a white hut on the south side of the road.

A Lothian and Borders Police spokeswoman said: "The girl was alarmed but not hurt.

"We would appeal to anyone who was in the Frogston Road area in the early hours of Friday morning and may have seen a silver-coloured five-door saloon, or noticed the driver acting suspiciously, to contact police."
