Three charged over youth's death

Police investigating the death of a 17-year-old in Edinburgh have arrested and charged three men.

Police said the death of Kevin Smith, from the city's Craigroyston Grove, was being treated as murder.

Officers received reports that a teenager had been hurt in a disturbance in the West Pilton Grove area at about 0100 BST on Sunday. He later died.

All three of the men arrested and charged are due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
