Children caught in the middle of a bitter divorce dispute are beginning to fight back against their parents.

They are getting their own solicitors, and Scotland is leading the way as young children take their parents to court to dictate where they live, and with whom.

Ross McWilliam reports on the case of Kenny Richey, the Scot on death row in Ohio.

Kenny, 36, who grew up in Edinburgh, was convicted of starting the fire which killed two-year-old Cynthia Collins in Columbus Grove, Ohio, in 1986.

His defence is still lobbying for a retrial to let fresh evidence that the fire was started accidentally be heard in court.
