Four arrested over murder attempt

Four men have been arrested following the attempted murder of a man outside a Masonic hall in West Dunbartonshire almost two weeks ago.

The 38-year-old was seriously injured following a fight in Church Street, Dumbarton, on 24 October.

The four men arrested are aged 24, 29, 39 and 44. They are expected to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Monday.

The injured man was treated in Glasgow's Southern General, where his condition was described as "serious".
