Severe flooding in Aberdeenshire

The town of Stonehaven, just south of Aberdeen, has suffered severe flooding.

Heavy rain has led the rivers Carron and to Cowie to burst their banks.

Twelve people were rescued from properties in the town, and emergency services warned residents to move to the upper floors of their properties.
