"Loch Doule reflecting a perfect summer sky," said Ian Niblo from Essex who took this beautiful shot while touring the Highlands.

Alex Mayo took this picture of his son Lucas jumping waves at Portobello beach in Edinburgh. He said: "We were making good use of the hot weather on the last day of school."

This colourful view of the High street in South Queensferry, near Edinburgh, was submitted by Gareth Weeks from Inverkeithing, Fife.

"Waking up at the pontoon," is how John Jess, who submitted this stunning shot, described it. The picture shows the harbour at Tarbert in Argyll.

"What a dude!" said Kate Mather who submitted this picture of a "very cuddly looking Heilan' coo" she spotted sunbathing on Great Bernera, Isle of Lewis.

This magical summer sunset was submitted by Paul Brooks from Alloway. He took the picture whilst anchored off Tanera Mor during a sailing holiday with friends.

Daisies at Coral Beach on the Isle of Skye,

These dainty daisies blowing in the wind on Coral Beach, near Dunvegan, on the Isle of Skye, were photographed by Lesley Gracie from Edinburgh.

John Inglis from Keith submitted this touching image of young siblings huddling together on the banks of Loch Morlich in the Cairngorms National Park.

"The crowd enjoying the Superbike race at Knockhill in beautiful sunny conditions," said Neil Morey from Edinburgh, who submitted this shot of the racing action.

"My son, Craig, aged 11, went on holiday last week to Orkney and took this beautiful picture of the Old Man of Hoy," said Karen Wright from Perth who submitted this picture.

Barbara Moug from Stirling took this picture of boats on Loch Broom on "a lovely sunny day" while on holiday in Ullapool in the Highlands.

Al Hutcheson took this breathtaking picture looking towards Fraserburgh at Sunset from St Combs beach in Aberdeenshire.
