Patrick Harvie was the sole male nominee for the post

Patrick Harvie is to become the new co-leader of the Scottish Green Party, it has been announced.
Mr Harvie was the sole nominee for the post of male co-convener, made vacant when veteran MSP Robin Harper stood down earlier this month.
The second co-convenor, who must be a woman under the Green Party's rules, will be chosen from three candidates.
They are former MSP Eleanor Scott, Glasgow councillor Nina Baker and Edinburgh councillor Maggie Chapman.
A ballot will be held in November.
The party also announced that renewable energy campaigner Elaine Morrison, from Dunkeld, Perthshire, is to head its list of candidates for next year's European elections.
