The paedophile, from Tayside, was reported missing less than two months after his release from prison, says The Courier.

Labour is to order virtually all of its Scottish MPs and MSPs to campaign in Glasgow East as it prepares for a "big fight" with the SNP, according to The Scotsman.

The Herald says motorists are facing further misery after a warning that the continuing surge in crude oil prices to record levels could add another 20p to a litre of petrol and diesel at the pumps within weeks.

The Daily Mail says Scotland is being overrun by rats because councils have axed weekly bin collections.
