Party faithful on the conference trail

Hundreds of Scottish Liberal Democrat members attended their party's spring conference in Aviemore in the Highlands.

But who was at the gathering and why?

Shabnum Mustapha Lib Dem member My first conference speech was in 2006 and I've never been as nervous. I spoke about anti-social behaviour and how we need to provide things for children to do, so they are not getting involved in such behaviour in the first place. Kevin Lang Lib Dem candidate For me, the most enjoyable part of conference has to be catching up with old friends and making new ones, reciting stories of elections won and looking forward to the challenges that lie ahead.
