A Nationalist MSP who had to be rushed to hospital after an accident in the parliament canteen has managed to make it back for the crucial budget vote.
Aileen Campbell, 27, the youngest of the MSPs, scalded her hand at lunch.
The South of Scotland regional list MSP was badly scalded after dropping a ladle full of lentil and tomato soup over herself.
She was treated at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, where staff gave her a tetanus injection and bandaged her up.
She was taken to hospital in a taxi.
Despite the incident, Ms Campbell made the effort to return to Holyrood, where the Scottish Government's £30bn budget proposals passed their first parliamentary hurdle by just a few votes.
She was said to be a bit shaky after the incident, but otherwise fine.
