Holyrood bosses probe rain flood
Flooding at the Scottish Parliament
The incident caused no significant damage
Scottish Parliament bosses have launched an urgent investigation into why part of the £414m building flooded.

Water began pouring into a public area on Thursday evening after a heavy rain storm.

The incident happened in the garden level restaurant and at the corner of a seated area in the garden lobby.

A parliament spokeswoman, who described the downpour as "sudden and heavy", said there was no significant damage and "little cost implication".

"Officials are looking into the cause as a matter of priority," she added.
