Hundreds of campaigners have marched through Edinburgh to demand a referendum on Scottish independence.
The march was organised by the campaign group Independence First.
Members of the Scottish National Party, the Scottish Greens, the Scottish Socialist Party and Solidarity spoke at a rally outside the Holyrood building.
A spokesman said: "It shows there is potential to get everybody who supports independence together, no matter what political party they are from."
Joe Middleton, of Independence First, estimated that more than 1,000 people took part.
He said: "Working together is the best way to maximise our chances of getting a referendum."
