A Highland animal charity is trying to find a father and son who found an injured badger at Dores near Loch Ness a month ago.
The animal needed three stitches and lost three teeth after being struck by a car.
It has recovered at Munlochy Animal Aid in Black Isle and is ready for release.
But Iona Henderson, from the charity, said it was vital they trace those who found the badger so it can be released exactly where it was found.
