Work starts on £4m dentist centre
Work has begun on a new £4m training centre for dentists in Aberdeen.

The facility, which is being built on the Foresterhill site at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, is an extension of the Dundee Dental School.

Students will complete their training in Aberdeen and it is hoped many will stay to work in the north east, where there is a shortage of practitioners.

The new facility will also employ salaried dentists who will provide an NHS service for patients.
