Three men have been arrested in Pakistan in connection with the murder of the Glasgow teenager Kriss Donald.
The 15-year-old was abducted near his home in Pollokshields last March and his body found the next day.
Imran Shahid was arrested in Lahore earlier this week. Later, Mohammed Mustaq and Zeeshan Shahid were taken into custody near Faisalabad.
Glasgow Central MP Mohammed Sarwar said he was confident they would now face trial in Scotland.
Warrants issued
Warrants for the arrest of the three men, who are now being held in Lahore, were issued in 2004 by Strathclyde Police.
Kriss Donald's body was found burned and stabbed on a walkway above the River Clyde near Celtic football club's Parkhead stadium, about three miles from where he disappeared on the south side of the city the previous day.
Kriss was a pupil at Bellahouston Academy.
