James Differ died in hospital after being shot in Glasgow
A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a man who died after a shooting incident in Glasgow.

James Differ, 42, from Kirkintilloch, was found seriously injured in a garden behind flats in the Garthamlock area on 21 April. He died later in hospital.

Peter Thomson, 45, of Hillend Road in the Lambhill area of Glasgow, appeared in private at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday charged with murder.

He made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody.
