A witness said smoke was billowing from all of the hatches
Firefighters have been called to deal with a severe blaze on board a fishing vessel in Fraserburgh harbour.

Grampian Fire and Rescue Service said it had deployed four appliances to extinguish the fire on board the Zenith BF106.

Some firefighters wore breathing apparatus and thermal imaging cameras were used to scan the vessel.

The ambulance service said it received a call to the scene but there were no casualties.

Grampian Fire and Rescue Service said it was called just before 2000 GMT on Tuesday.

An eyewitness told the BBC News website: "The fire was pretty severe. It was taking hold a good bit and smoke was coming out of all of the hatches."
