One of Scotland's greatest football entertainers has embarked on a new career as a singer.
Lisbon Lion Jimmy 'Jinky' Johnstone has teamed up with Jim Kerr of Simple Minds to launch a new version of the classic single Dirty Old Town.
Jimmy, who suffers from motor neurone disease (MND), has recorded the CD to raise funds for charity.
Proceeds will go towards the Children's Hospice Association Scotland and Radio Lollipop International.
The former Celtic player was nicknamed Jinky for his wizardry on the wing in the 60s and 70s.
'Dreadful disease'
The key player in Jock Stein's team which lifted the European Cup acquired a reputation as a singer off the field.
The 59-year-old recently met Jim Kerr during the making of a film on the footballer's life, Lord of the Wing.
The meeting led to the pair recording a distinctive version of Dirty Old Town.
Jimmy said: "So little is known about this dreadful disease and what causes it, so I wanted to raise money for care and research into MND, and to help raise awareness."
The charity single was released on Monday.
