A paedophile molested a 13-year-old girl after meeting her in an internet chatroom, a court has heard.
Evans was remanded in custody at Edinburgh's High Court
Guy Evans, 34, admitted using indecent practices and behaviour towards his young victim when he appeared at High Court in Edinburgh.
He had picked up the girl in his works van after arranging a meeting and drove her to a lay-by where he abused her.
When police traced Evans to his home in Bannockburn, they discovered he had child porn on his computer.
They also found a temporary chatroom in which it appeared he had discussed what he had done with the girl.
Evans was originally charged with abducting the schoolgirl and indecently assaulting her, but the Crown accepted his not guilty pleas to these offences.
However, he admitted using indecent practices and behaviour towards the girl on 13 February last year at a lay-by off the A1 Edinburgh to Newcastle road.
The first offender also admitted possessing and making indecent photographs and pseudo photographs of children at his former home in Randolph Place, Bannockburn, in Stirlingshire, between 27 July, 2002 and 7 June last year.
Temporary judge Rita Rae QC deferred sentence for background reports and ordered Evans to be placed on the sex offenders register.
