Detectives hunting the killer of a Stirling pensioner are following a number of new leads.
It comes after officers conducted a stop and question exercise outside the home of 64-year-old Hilary Crowley.
Central Scotland Police said they were now checking the names of several people who might have some knowledge of her death.
The body of partially-sighted Mrs Crowley was found in her Cowane Street flat last Thursday.
Police said they had also been given the names of people who might have been involved in a robbery at her home several weeks ago.
About 10,000 leaflets containing an appeal for information were distributed to drivers, pedestrians and taxi and bus passengers in Cowane Street on Wednesday.
Detective Inspector Graham Bye said the investigative team was now looking at a significant amount of leads following a "very positive response" from the public.

He said: "That information continues to help us build up a picture of Hilary and this crime.
"Some of the information which has come to us concerns named individuals who might be involved or who might have some knowledge of Hilary's death.
"Some of them are being mentioned in connection with the robbery, of which Hilary was previously a victim.
"We are now investigating those names as one of a number of lines of inquiry.
"I remain of the opinion that the answer to this senseless crime lies within the Stirling community itself."
Mrs Crowley was last seen alive leaving her home at 1230 BST on Wednesday, 12 May, when she was wearing an anorak, blue trousers and training shoes.
