Man held over fatal club shooting

An arrest has been made by police investigating the fatal shooting of a man in a Glasgow social club.

Stephen Kerr, 46, of Maryland Gardens, Craigton, was taken to the Southern General Hospital where he died.

Police said there had been an incident in the Benburb Social Club, Craigton Drive, Drumoyne, on Saturday 27 March.

Strathclyde Police say a 27-year-old man has been arrested and is in police custody. A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
