Baby 'swallowed ecstasy tablet'
Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital
The child is said to be in a stable condition
A 10-month-old baby underwent hospital treatment after swallowing what was believed to be an ecstasy tablet.

The boy was taken to Royal Aberdeen Children's hospital where he was kept for two nights.

He was released on Tuesday.

The alarm was raised after an incident at a house in Banff.

Grampian Police said the mother of the child took him to Banff police office in the early hours of Sunday morning.

From there he was taken to Chalmers Hospital in Banff before being transferred by ambulance to Aberdeen.

A 21-year-old man has been reported to the procurator fiscal.
