What the Scottish daily papers say
What the papers say graphic
Scotland's most senior law officer has been ordered to overturn a rule which banned the police report into the Dunblane massacre from being made public for 100 years, according to The Scotsman.

The paper also reports that hundreds of patients have been turned away from a hospital bought by the Scottish Executive specifically to reduce waiting times because it does not have the staff to treat them.

A Scots dad issued a lifesaving plea for his little girl, says The Daily Record.

It also reports that Prime Minister Tony Blair was facing furious demands to reveal the true extent of the terror threat to Britain.

Military jets were patrolling the skies over London and Washington after the two cities were placed on high alert amid fears of an imminent al-Qaeda terrorist attack, says The Herald.

The Scottish Sun and The Courier both report that First Minister Jack McConnell will hold a security summit with Scotland's top police officers and lawmen as fears rise over a terror attack.

The Press and Journal tells how the family of a missing Forfar pensioner made an emotional appeal for local people to help find him.
