Man charged with baby murder
Police at scene
Police have been examining the farmhouse
A 31-year-old man has appeared in private at Aberdeen Sheriff Court charged with the murder of a 13-month-old child.

The baby girl, called Nicole, died in hospital on Monday after an incident at a farm cottage at Forgue, near Huntly.

Alexander McClure, of Conland Farm Cottage, at Forgue, in Aberdeenshire, appeared in private at the sheriff court.

Procurator Fiscal Adrian Cottam refused to give the infant's name at this stage.

She said McClure had been committed for further examination, remanded in custody, and had made no plea or declaration.
