Sir Sean 'gets better with age'
Sir Sean Connery
Sir Sean is now 71-years-old
Scottish screen legend Sean Connery has been rated as growing more attractive with his advancing years, according to a survey.

The Edinburgh-born actor, who made his name playing secret agent James Bond, topped a poll of stars who get sexier with age.

The poll was carried out for the October issue of Instyle magazine and showed Sir Sean still packs a punch.

The 71-year-old took more than a quarter of the votes, to beat other stars like Sting, Robert Redford and Paul Newman.

Rolling Stone Mick Jagger may be irresistible to a string of beauties but he did not prove a hit with the 1,000 readers who took part in the poll.

He drew just 1% of the votes, along with Mel Gibson and Jack Nicholson.

EastEnders star Tamzin Outhwaite was named the sexiest woman soap star with more than half the votes (51%) in the survey.

Her screen co-star Martin Kemp - who is set to quit Walford next year - was top soap male with 34%.

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were the sexiest married couple with two-fifths of the votes.

Brad Pitt was also named the top unavailable man with George Clooney the hunkiest unattached guy.
