Annabelle Ewing failed to win the seat for the SNP
The Scottish National Party lost out to Labour in the key target of Ochil and Perthshire South.

Labour's Gordon Banks won the seat with a majority of 688 over the SNP's Annabelle Ewing, who was an MP in the last parliament.

SNP leader Alex Salmond said: "I'm very disappointed about Annabelle Ewing. She has been an outstanding colleague."

Mr Banks said: "We fought a campaign based on positive issues from the Government's policies since 1997."
