Otis Ferry has been hunting Tony Blair and today found him in Shropshire.
The 22-year-old outspoken pro-hunt campaigner shouted abuse at the prime minister as he arrived at a Labour event in Wellington. Mr Ferry, who stormed the House of Commons last year, was surrounded by police officers as he approached the prime minister's car.
Otis Ferry in Wellington today
When Mr Blair emerged, he shouted: "Tony Blair, go back to the city. That's the only place you're welcome. Stop smiling, you greasy..."
At that point, Mr Ferry's rant was obediently reined in while in mid-flow, by a timely word of warning from a policeman, who uttered "careful".
Mr Ferry is the son of ageing rock star Bryan Ferry. Unlike the press, he didn't get the chance to speak to the prime minister today. He's just a jealous guy.
If this was Otis Ferry son of a mechanic from Peckham would we care what he had to say?
Can I just say that not everyone in Shropshire is fanatical about blood sports? Foxes need controlling but there are better ways of doing it. Nevertheless, I would rather have seen hunting continue than have so much time wasted on it in Parliament (and the Press)...there are far more important things to worry about.
Meg Lewis (also aged 22), Shropshire
I hope Otis Ferry gets some publicity into this campaign about fox hunting. I'm sure most people don't realise the Tories have a manifesto commitment to re-instate fox hunting.

Ok there's a lot of people who don't agree with the hunting ban. But fair play to Otis Ferry! At least he's making an effort to get his views heard! The rest of us just sit around bitching (Can I say that?) about the things we're not happy with! How do you expect to get your voice heard if you dont use it!
