Missing issues

By Mark Simpson
BBC News

POSTED: Wednesday 13 April, 1430BST

Hunt supporters have finally tracked down Tony Blair.

A noisy group of around 70 protesters greeted the PM as he arrived in Rushden, Northamptonshire, for a campaign event.

The atmosphere was largely good-natured, but dozens of police were on standby just in case.

Iraq and hunting were the two big issues on the minds of the protesters - not exactly Mr Blair's favourite subjects.

In fact those of us on the Labour campaign trail have been searching in vain to find them mentioned in the leader's speeches.

We'll keep hunting.

Blair was obviously hoping to "out-fox" them!
John Deltoid, Newquay, UK

The question of reform of the House of Lords does not appear to be mentioned either
