Seek out Tara Hamilton-Miller. Her shoes brighten up Conservative Headquarters and she'll be wearing a different pair every day until the election's over.

When Tony Blair met the Queen, she slipped into silver glitter boots. Yesterday it was calf-high green suede with red buttons. Today's stylish offering were in white with black spots and red edging.

Tomorrow I'm told to expect purple suede with diamante, as she battles with Theresa May (the shadow minister for the family who once famously wore leopard print kitten-heeled shoes) to be the Imelda Marcos of the Conservative Party.
