Coalition deal to be put to David Cameron

Conservative negotiator William Hague has said that recommendations on a coalition with the Liberal Democrats will be put to David Cameron.

Gordon Brown has officially tendered his resignation to the Queen at Buckingham Palace, and recommended Conservative leader David Cameron succeed him.
