Brown heckled by angry parent


The prime minister faced his first heckler on the campaign trail, when Ben Butterworth from South London complained that he could not get his son into a school of his choice.

At a question-and-answer event later, Gordon Brown was asked why he had not spoken to him.

He said: "I'm happy to answer questions at public meetings, but I was actually on my way from one meeting to another''.
