Queen's Speech: Pomp and ceremony

The new government's plans to reform schools, police, welfare and Britain's political system have been set out in the Queen's Speech.

David Cameron's coalition may signal a new era of politics, but events at Westminster stuck strictly to tradition, with all the pomp and ceremony one would expect at the State Opening of Parliament.
